The Sackville Farmers’ Market is starting it’s online ordering and delivery system this week, with the first delivery date scheduled for this Saturday, November 7th.

Now that it’s November, the market relocated to its winter location at 45 Main Street.

The system is based on the food box program implemented over the summer, where folks ordered market essentials such as bread and eggs for $15.

There are three options for food packages, which the Market says will “suit different households’ food needs.”

The “affordable food box” features seasonal fruits and vegetables for $15, and is described as “ideal for a single person.”

The “big veggie-stock up” option is $35, meant for “a household’s worth of vegetable staples.” The box has potatoes, carrots, onions, with some “seasonal surprises.”

The largest box is the “family pack” which includes “a loaf of Esser’s bread, a dozen eggs, apples, and a selection of seasonal produce.” The family pack is available at $40.

Order forms are available online

If market patrons have any suggestions for the future of the ordering process, there is a segment where folks can share additional options they would like to see added in the future.

Pre-ordering is open for delivery this Saturday, and will close on Wednesday, November 5th at 5pm.

Payments are accepted by e-transfer.
