Alex Colville’s cabin sells for about $265k

A cabin designed and built by painter Alex Colville in North Port, Nova Scotia has sold for $15,000 over the asking price of $250,000.

The land and the small two-story cabin were on the market for 9 days, according to Haley Ryan of CBC Nova Scotia.

Colville designed and built the cabin in 1964, shortly after retiring from full-time teaching at Mount Allison University, but while still living in Sackville.
