We’re very excited to have received funding from NBSEED to help keep the airwaves electric across the Marshes.
Our hosts/producers are a team that work together to keep our community informed throughout the broadcast day on CHMA. Our hosts research, produce audio and online content of relevant community events and diverse music. They work with the staff of CHMA to keep our community informed and entertained. Outreach and engagement to promote campus and community is fundamental. They demonstrate an eclectic and unbiased knowledge of music and culture, as well as and a strong commitment to under-represented communities in Canada. Experience is not necessary and training will be provided.
Our hosts contribute to our daytime hosting, create local announcements, spots and other productions, update our website and socials, assist with programming and music rotations, and help plan and coordinate special events and remote broadcasts.
Community outreach, interest in independent and local culture, along with strong verbal and writing skills will be an asset.
