Been quite the rainy week, hasn’t it? I hope you were all healthy and dry, enjoying your coffee or hot chocolate from the comfort of your homes. Here’s your newsletter for today, to add some warmth and sunshine back into our days:) Quite a lot of exciting things coming up, sooooo I hope you all are ready!!!
Call for 2 full-time Canadian Students: CHMA Board of Directors
Now in it’s 50th year (WOOHOO!), Attic Broadcasting Co. Ltd. is the independent, non-profit organization that is the governing body for CHMA, your favourite campus and community radio station. It’s comprised of 4 MtA students, 2 community members and 1 community member affiliated with MtA.
We are currently still looking to fill 2 of the 4 student positions.
They meet once a month via Zoom. The meetings are generally 1 hour long for staff reports and then questions and comments.
Please note that these positions must be full-time students at MtA (valid for 1 year after the date you’ve paid tuition), 19+ and Canadian citizens.

CHMA June Drop-In Series: Introduction to Podcasting (June 29)
Are you interested in learning how you can make your very own Podcast? Come learn about how you can book one of our studios at your convenience, how to do proper vocal and recording techniques, how accessible podcast creation is with your local community and campus radio station, CHMA, and how we can help you distribute your podcast to platforms like Spotify! We are always looking for local personalities and voices to join the volunteers campus and community radio station. Stop on by for a fun and engaging experience!

CHMA on Canada Day! (July 1)
Be a part of Canada Day festivities at our very own Bill Johnstone Memorial Park! Enjoy live music, local vendors, a bouncy castle, and much more! It’s sure to be a fantastic time for everyone. What’s even more exciting is that you can definitely meet us there at the park! We shall be with you from 12-3pm. We can’t wait to meet you!
