CHMA will be at Moonlight Madness today! Come find our table today, November 17th from 6-9pm for a chat and to learn about all of the fun events we are hosting every Saturday. Fill out a Radiogram, with a fun message- such as a birthday wish, anniversary, congratulations, a local announcement for an upcoming event, or a fun message for someone you love -AND we will read it on-air! CHMA Button Making Workshop Nov 18
Are you interested to learn about how you can make a custom-made button- a button that is just the right one for you? Come to CHMA (third floor of Mount Allison Student Centre) and Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1 to 3pm, to become an expert in button making and to make a few buttons you can take back home! As always, CHMA events are free and open to everyone!
CHMA Vinyl Party Hangout Nov 22
CHMA is having a Vinyl Party Hangout, on Wednesday, November 22 from 7-9pm, at our very own CHMA Headquarters. Volunteers, Programmers, and Members are all welcome to join in on the fun, try their hand at Vinyl DJing, partake in some non-alcoholic drinks and pizza, and participate in a radio-themes version of Pictionary! This stunning evening is going to be a great time to get to know your fellow Radio enthusiasts, and it IS bound to be a rocking good time!:)
How to: Pre-recording your show Nov 25
Join the staff at CHMA on Saturday, November 25th, between 1p-3pm, for a tutorial on pre-recording and uploading your radio show! Learn how to quickly record weeks worth of content, from the comfort of CHMA’s Audio Production Room or Digital Media Room! Stop by the CHMA Headquarters on the Third Floor of the Mount Allison Student Centre and CHMA Staff will also be available to answer all your questions! All CHMA events are fun, free, and open to everyone!
CHMA’s first ever Secret Santa!
CHMA is also excited to announce that we will be doing a Secret Santa for the first time this holiday season! If you do not know what that is; everyone who is interested is randomly assigned to get a gift for one volunteer or staff member, but you will NOT know who is getting you a gift (hence the secret!). Gifts can be handmade, purchased, or a combination of the two. If you are purchasing a gift, please keep it under a $20 limit.
