Yet another cloudy Friday! The campus is now bustling with activity as students wrap up their first week of classes! Have a look at some cool things that CHMA will be a part of, and some important announcements for our programmers. Don’t forget to check out our adorable ‘Welcome Back’ banner at the station:
CHMA at Clubs and Societies Fair!!! (Sept 8)
Craig and Sailee will be at the MTA Clubs and Societies Fair with everything you need to know to get involved at CHMA. Come by, do a Station ID, record a spot, or sign up for a Fall show! Come say hi on September 8th, 11am-2pm, at Purdy Crawford Centre.
New at CHMA??
CHMA offers a plethora of creative media opportunities; radio hosting, live (as well as audio) podcasting, music production, content creation, DJing, you name it! If this resonates with you, we can set up a time to have a quick chat and go over how you can get involved with us.
CHMA is open from 9am-5pm on weekdays. You can most certainly drop by and we can go over some ideas together. Otherwise, you can also book a time with us on our website.

Send us your information and ideas and we will get back to you about starting the process. Once we have your application we will contact you to book a tour, for an introduction meeting, a training process, and getting you access to our studios or set up from home. All of our training can also be done remotely via Zoom or telephone!

If you would like to make any changes to your show (such as timeslot change, continuation/ discontinuation of a show etc.), do send us a quick update on programming@chmafm.com.
Our cute Broadcast Licence!
Here is something that we have been working on this summer: unofficial, official broadcasting licence! This licence is for members who have completed their on-air training and know how to use the on-air equipment. If you have completed yours and didn’t get a licence, shoot us an email at station@chmafm.com. Get yours now!
