It comes only twice a year… the chance to get rid of junk that’s been piling up in your home, but also an opportunity for a curbside score.
Next week is Clean Up Week in Sackville. The municipality has hired Miller Waste to pick up large items not accepted in regular waste pickup.
The town is asking residents to place items at curbside the day before their regular garbage collection day.
Items that will be picked up include televisions, microwaves or any type of appliance, bagged leaves, furniture, tree limbs under 4 feet and bundled, and up to 50 kg of construction debris.
Miller Waste will not pick up cars or car parts, trees/brush, Household Hazardous Wastes, or black garbage bags with contents.
Only units that received municipal garbage pickup qualify for the service.
For more information, check out the town of Sackville website.
The next clean up week will be in spring 2021.
