On today’s show, Tantramar council has added glyphosate to the testing regime for Sackville and Dorchester water supplies, though public works director Jon Eppell told council there’s a good chance the herbicide won’t show up in amounts large enough to measure. We listen in as Eppell explains how the municipality tests its water supplies, which already includes testing for heavy metals, such as iron and manganese.

Plus we head over to the Tantramar Civic Centre during last night’s Town vs Gown charity hockey game to talk with Tantramar recreation’s program coordinator Jessica Wilson about what’s on tap for Winterfest 2025.

And over in Memramcook, village councillor Carole Duguay has resigned for personal reasons, leaving an open seat to be filled in the next round of municipal by-elections on April 14.
