On today’s show, Tantramar council has okayed an increase to the number of veterans banners that will be displayed on Sackville and Dorchester streets this November. We listen in as parks director Matt Pryde explains the costs to council, and councillors explain why they think increasing banner numbers is worth that cost.

Plus in other stories:

  • Two planning changes that could make way for new, smaller homes in Sackville have cleared another hurdle and could be enacted after council’s next meeting.
  • Sappyfest is celebrating its 20-year anniversary this year and festival organizers are requesting a special $20,000 grant to help with special initiatives to mark the milestone.
