Culinary Garden

Saturdays 9am. Sarah Evans & Alan Barbour, Master Gardener & Chef, are starting their twelfth growing season in the Culinary Garden.  Listen weekly as they work through the growing season in a kitchen garden: planning, planting, harvesting, processing, and problem-solving. Offering experienced advice as they go from the garden to the kitchen, you will be inspired to cultivate your plate no matter what your level of garden experience. Their Culinary Garden is located behind Ducks aren’t Real restaurant, and the courtyard patio includes raised beds, pergolas, and a greenhouse, and uses organic methods and permaculture ideas to grow food every step of the way, from seed to salad. Downtown Sackville New Brunswick is in the middle of the Maritimes, in Canadian climatic zone 5b/6a, with a last frost date around May 15th.
