The MASU announced the deadline for student COVID testing Wednesday (Aug. 26).

The Government of New Brunswick will provide testing for all Mount Allison students who are  from outside the Atlantic Bubble, including Canadian students.

Any student eligible for the test and who would like to be tested must register on Moodle by the end of today, Thursday August 27th.

Testing will occur on September 1st and 2nd.

The Mount Allison Students’ Union says they strongly encourage that students take advantage of this free, in-town testing.

MASU says it does not matter what stage the students are at in their isolation period, whether it’s their first day or they’ve already completed it, they can still be tested.

The link for registration can be found on MASU’s Facebook page or here.

A member of the Mount Allison campus community tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, August 25th.

The individual is between the ages of 10 and 19.

They were self-isolating upon their arrival to campus, and are continuing to self-isolate.

Public Health will contact anyone who may be at risk of infection.

All questions about student COVID testing should contact Anne Comfort by email, acomfort@mta.ca.
