On today’s show, we take a look at the outline of a proposed new strategic plan for Tantramar, which calls for a laundry list of more detailed plans for the new municipality to tackle over the next three years.

The draft strategy calls on Tantramar to immediately take on a tax review, fire services review, recreation plan and housing plan this year, but leaves other big items, such as a climate change adaptation plan, a transportation plan, and a new municipal plan to 2027 and beyond.

Consultant Craig Pollett will be back at council on Monday, March 24 to present the full draft of the new strategic plan, and it’s expected to come back to council on April 8 for possible approval.
