Make Something Sunday: See-Through Sketchbooks

Draw in a sketchbook of translucent pages and play with the ways your drawings can shift and layer to reveal new and surprising arrangements. Experiment with colour and line and try out some stencils too. Drop-in for half an hour or stay for two. No booking required. This program is offered free of charge. Come to Owens Art Gallery on March 9, anytime between 2-4pm.
ABOUT: Make Something Sunday is a monthly program that introduces new materials and new ways of working through informal hands-on art making workshops for kids 12 and under and their grownups. Complementing Make Something Sunday is our Play Atelier, a pop-up space that extends opportunities for families to engage in open-ended, sensory and creative play. At the heart of the Play Atelier is a light cube that functions as a stage for experiments with colour and light. Various changing materials offer new and unexpected avenues for playful exploration.
