Attic Transmissions is CHMA’s flagship 1-hour weekly music show highlighting our favourites in the local and Canadian music scene.

On this week’s Attic Transmissions, we’ll be listening to some pretty cool artists that will be playing in the Spud Fest festival that’s set to happen in Souris, PEI this coming July 20, 2024. With some amazing underground local and not-so-local Canadian acts.

Spud Fest is a shoestring, DIY, backyard music festival, established in the summer of 2020. This summer will mark Spud Fest’s fifth year! It’s nothing fancy, but it has a ton of heart. The festival is built on a celebration of inclusivity and creativity, and aims to bring together community members of all ages and backgrounds to appreciate art and music. Spud Fest is a completely non-profit event, with all proceeds besides those required for operation costs to be donated to charity.
