On today’s show: CHMA reporter Clinton Davis takes us to Mount Allison’s Windsor Grand Room as students and faculty celebrate Black excellence on campus, an end to a full month of Black History Month events and activities.

“We are not just recognizing excellence for what it was,” Black Student Union president Patrice Pat-Odita told the gathered crowd, “but we are redefining it by the choices we make today, tomorrow and in the future.”

Plus in briefs:

  • Tantramar MLA Megan Mitton is hosting two town hall sessions next week in Cape Tormentine and Dorchester, on March 12 and 13.
  • Jolicure-based artist and photographer Thaddeus Holownia is being recognized with a Governors General’s Artistic Achievement Award in Visual and Media Arts.
