Not only do we have great studios and training for creating your podcast, we can also have a very simple process to get it distributed on Spotify, Apple Music and chmafm.com, which makes it very easy to share on your socials. This How-to assumes that you’ve completed the training and application for podcasting at CHMA. If not, sign up here first.
Step 1
Send us a promotional image (1080px x 1080px, canvas.com is great for this) and description of about 120 words that we can use to host and promote your series.
Step 2
We’ll create an account for you in our distribution platform, Autopod, and send you the details.
Step 3
We’ll create a page on chmafm.com.
Step 4
Once you upload your first episode, send us a note at station@chmafm.com and we’ll complete the process to have it populated to the various platforms.
Step 5
You’ll be able to upload future episodes through your account and set the time that they’re released. They’ll auto-populate on the date you’re set for the release.
How to upload your episode to Autopod
Visit https://autopod.hippynet.co.uk to log in.
use the username and password that we’ll have sent you.
1: Click on the show image, it will bring you to the next page.
2. Click on “Upload episode” on that page, you will be brought to a page where you can upload your episode title and description
3. Add a date and time for when you want the episode to be released.
4. If you want you can add an episode specific image but this is not required.
5. Upload the audio file and then click “Add New Episode”.
6. Send us a note at station@chmafm.com when your first episode is uploaded and we’ll finish the process of getting it to the other platforms. This step is required only for the first episode, every subsequent episode will populate automatically.
Your show page on chmafm.com will have a share link, as will your Spotify and Apple Music pages.
