Celebrated local artist, Thaddeus Holownia, has been chosen as a recipient of this year’s Governor General’s Award in Artistic Achievement in Visual and Media Arts.
I had an opportunity to sit down with Thaddeus at his studio in Jolicure, NB and talk with him about his career as an artist, his interest in documenting the natural marshland world of this region, and how he feels about being honoured by the Canada Council with the Governor General Award in Artistic Achievement.
