On today’s show, we hear from New Brunswick premier Susan Holt after a meeting in Ottawa Wednesday to discuss the country’s strategy in response to possible 25% tariffs threatened by incoming US president Donald Trump. Holt says the premiers are united on the goal of eliminating tariffs, despite the fact that Alberta premier Danielle Smith did not sign a joint news release after the meeting. Holt also says that now is the time to “actively support our own economies” by buying New Brunswick and Canadian made products.
