On today’s show, we talk with Sackville developer John Lafford about his plans for a new 7-storey building on the corner of York Street and Ford Lane. At their next meeting in two weeks, council will consider a request to change the allowable height rules in the downtown mixed use zone, to allow for buidlings up to 75 feet high. Lafford and his partner Mike Wilson have requested the change which will make way for their Ford Lane development.

Plus in briefs: two people died in a vehicle collison on Route 16, Colliers Canada has been hired to oversee the Chignecto Isthmus Resiliency Project, the Dorchester Farmers Market is on hiatus until construction wraps up on Station Road, and just three of four Tantramar candidates are registered with Elections NB.
