International Transgender Day of Visibility

March 31st is the International Transgender Day of Visibility.

Some organizations that celebrate, promote, and perpetuate trans excellence not just today but everyday are:

Salaam Canada, a volunteer-run national organization dedicated to creating space for people who identify as both Muslim and queer and trans.

The Canadian Trans Network, which aspires to become a united community of trans, non-binary, gender-diverse, and Two-Spirit, organizations, advocates, and activists from across the country.

Transgendermap.com, which displays local resources for trans people by region.

Twospiritjournal.com, which provides original content of news and current events to educate, build connectivity and to put a face and voice to the diverse & vibrant Two-Spirit community in the United States and Canada.

And more locally, we have SEQuYN, an online resource and community-focused space created for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth aged 13 to 29. They are a self-described hub for queer and trans health and education questions.
