On today’s show, the Sackville Art Association will open their annual art show this Sunday at the Owens Art Gallery with a gala event. We stop by to visit the association’s Thursday paint group at the Middle Sackville Baptist Church to hear about their history and activities, and why members come from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to be part of the group.

Plus in local news briefs, Tantramar council’s meeting Wednesday included a final decision on the rezoning of Beale and Inch’s York Street property to industrial, and students from three Maritime universities will display their policy ideas to address climate change in Atlantic Canada in a public poster session Friday afternoon at Convocation Hall.
