Move for Tantramar takeover of Trans Canada Trail supported by citizens group

On today’s show we talk with retired Sackville doctor Ross Thomas about his support for a move by Councillor Josh Goguen to see the Trans Canada Trail come under the town’s management. Thomas is part of a group of citizens also advocating for town cooperation in pursuing funding for a pedway to connect the trail across the Trans Canada highway. Plus in news briefs, Mount Allison says it’s close to starting construction on the RP Bell library renovation project, and the New Brunswick Nurses’ Union calls for an end to reliance on costly contracted travel nurses.
