Mt. A Chaplain John Perkin moves on after 27 years

The Chaplain at Mount Allison University has announced he’s leaving to take a new job in Ontario.

John Perkin has been hired as Pastor at First Baptist Church in Ottawa. After twenty-seven years at Mount Allison, Perkin says he’ll miss counselling students and teaching religious studies courses. He says he’ll also miss the unique Mt. A chapel and his hobby feeding the pheasants in Middle Sackville.
