On today’s show, we talk with Jonelle Mace, the new executive director of Dorchester’s Moving Forward Cooperative. Last month, Mace took the helm of the community co-op which operates a community fridge, commercial kitchen and food centre, and trail network in Dorchester. Mace says she’s ready to continue the co-op’s mission to advocate for food sovereignty in New Brunswick.

Mace gets an official welcome to the community at an open invitation meet and greet tonight at Station 8. “I’m looking forward to meeting some new faces and seeing and hearing some opinions from people who this co-op serves, and who serve it as well,” says Mace.
