Liberal Leader Zach Churchill says his party would lower provincial income taxes by raising the basic personal exemption amount to 15-thousand-705 dollars.

Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Houston says his party will establish a provincial travel nurse team to help areas with nursing shortages.

Nova Scotians casting a ballot in the upcoming provincial election won’t need a voter card at the polls.

Chief electoral officer Dorothy Rice says voters can bring personal identification or can swear an oath.

The traditional voter information cards, which are typically sent by mail, would have told registered voters where and when they could vote on election day.

That specific location can be found on the Elections Nova Scotia website by clicking on the tab marked, “Where do I vote?”
