The government announced that pharmacies will start giving vaccines to people in identified priority groups.

As of today, New Brunswickers 85 years old and older are eligible to get the vaccine starting Wednesday, March 17th.

People 85 and up need to book an appointment with their pharmacy over the phone. If somebody needs help making an appointment, a family member or caregiver is allowed to make one for them.

CHMA contacted local pharmacies, and will provide more details about what the vaccination process will look like in the coming days.

New Brunswick has two new cases of COVID-19, both of which are in Zone 1 (Moncton).

Those two cases are self-isolating and under investigation.

There are 34 active cases remaining, six of which are in Zone 1 (Moncton).

Two people have recovered from the disease since Wednesday. Three people remain in the hospital, and two of them are in intensive care.
