On today’s show, reporter Clinton Davis stops in at the Walk and Wheel Wednesday in the Sackville Waterfowl Park, and finds out how this and other initiatives of Nursing Home Without Walls Tantramar provide opportunities for activity, connection and support for area seniors.

Plus in briefs:

  • A new K-8 school for Sackville and a mid-life upgrade for Tantramar Regional High School are both on the wish list from the Anglophone East School District, for projects that may be funding by the province five or more years from now.
  • The fundraising has just begun to transform the stands of the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre with new, comfortable seating, with 39 seats and counting funded by local donors.
