On today’s show, Memramcook village council voted unanimously on Tuesday night to reject a proposal to rezone a property off Route 925/Rue Principale, which would have allowed for the continued development of a gravel pit on the site. We talk with Mayor Maxime Bourgeois about why he voted against the rezoning, and hear reactions from those in council chambers, including neighbours of the property and the property owner, Rino Savoie of Pulse Excavating.

Plus, an update on the coroner’s inquest into the death of a 13-year-old girl who reportedly jumped from the back of a school bus on Woodlawn Road in April 2023.
