In the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, October 18, 2020, a Town of Sackville utility pickup truck was stolen.

Chief Administrative Officer Jamie Burke says that the Engineering and Public Works facility on 101 Crescent Street was broken into.

The utility pickup truck is a dark blue 2013 Chevrolet Silverado with Town of Sackville stickers on both front doors.  It also has a white space cap cover.

Burke says a missing vehicle is “an inconvenience,” but he does not anticipate any disruptions to town work other than some small delays.

The incident is currently under investigation by the RCMP.

The vehicle’s licence plate number LBK 945 and the vehicle identification number is 1GC1KVCG0DF155154.

The RCMP asks that anyone who may have seen the vehicle since October 18, and anyone with further information, contact the Sackville RCMP or Crimestoppers.
