On today’s show: A Strait Shores councillor says he has been unfairly treated after being banned from the Strait Shores municipal building, being told not to communicate with any other staff or councillors, and being locked out of his municipal email account.

Councillor Andy MacGregor also says he has also been told he cannot discuss the sanctions against him, even though they were in a motion passed by Strait Shores council during an open session.

In an interview on Friday, MacGregor talks about the sanctions, his complaint to the Local Governance Commission, and his reaction to a widely circulating letter that appears to be signed by former mayor Jason Stokes, accusing MacGregor of bullying behaviour.

“What I’m trying to do is just install a little transparency,” says MacGregor. “I dare anybody to show me any evidence that I bullied anybody.”
