Tantramar turns down Freshwinds request to go for federal funding, jeopardizing future of non-profit co-op development

On today’s show: Tantramar council has rejected a request to apply for federal infrastructure funding in support of a 63 unit, non-profit housing co-op development planned for Fairfield Road in Sackville, and the rejection could jeopardise the prospects for the project to succeed. 

CHMA recaps some of the discussion at Tuesday’s meeting, and talks with Freshwinds Housing Co-operative co-chair Sabine Dietz to get her reaction.
