UPDATE: There is a more up-to-date list of resources, including how to get reusable masks for free.
The Physical Health Action Group, a subcommittee of the Tantramar COVID-19 Task Force, is scheduled to meet on October 21st.
However, with the recent outbreak and mandatory mask policy it is likely that the group will meet as early as next week.
Shannon Robinson, the communications coordinator of the Tantramar COVID-19 Task Force (TCTF), says that an emergency meeting may be in order to discuss mask procurement and distribution.
In the meantime, Robinson suggests consulting the TCTF’s list of individuals, local businesses, and websites where face masks are available. The list was originally published at the beginning of the pandemic, and is not exhaustive. Updates and corrections may be necessary.
The TCTF is working on a strategy to provide face masks free of charge.
