UPDATED at 3pm July 26 to add another Pfizer walk-in clinic on Friday.

The Corner Drug Store is hosting four days of walk-in clinics at its shop on York and Main this week.

On Monday, anyone interested in a dose of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine can walk-in without an appointment at Corner Drug. On Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, the pharmacy will offer the Pfizer vaccine on a walk-in basis.

In addition, Pharmacist Charles Beaver says that anyone looking for a dose one, or for a time-sensitive dose two, can be accommodated any day this week, if they call the Corner Drug at 536-2255 to make an appointment.

In the past week, the province clocked past over one million doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered. The rollout slowed down slightly over the last week, with just over 50,000 shots given.

Just over 57% of the population has had two doses of a vaccine, and over 78% have had at least one. Those numbers go up to 64% and 81% when not counting children under 12, who are still not eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine.
